We collect only the information necessary to provide our educational and billing services:
- Account Data: Your full name, email address, password hash, and WhatsApp/phone number provided during registration.
- Billing & Mandate Data: Razorpay customer tokens, UPI Autopay mandate identifiers, subscription status, and transaction histories. We never store credit card numbers, debit card CVVs, or UPI PINs.
- Learning Telemetry: Video lesson playback watch progress (seconds), completed lesson IDs, quiz scores, and certificate issuance records.
- Technical & Network Data: IP address, browser user-agent, operating system, and session timestamps used for session authentication and anti-piracy DRM watermarking.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is strictly used for the following legitimate purposes:
- To authenticate your student login and grant access to the video classroom.
- To manage recurring ₹199/month UPI Autopay subscriptions and invoice generation.
- To dispatch pre-debit notices, password resets, and critical course updates.
- To render dynamic floating student watermarks on video streams to deter copyright theft.
- To generate and publicly verify earned Certificates of Completion.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers.
4. Payment Processing Security
All financial transactions and UPI Autopay mandates are processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorized payment aggregator compliant with the highest global security standard: PCI-DSS Level 1. All communication between our server and Razorpay is secured with 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption.
5. Dynamic Watermarking Notice
To safeguard instructor intellectual property, our video player renders a semi-transparent, floating watermark displaying your registered name, email, and masked IP address during playback. This information is visible exclusively within your individual session and is not broadcast to other users.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
You have the right to review, update, or request the deletion of your personal account data at any time. If you wish to delete your DigitalStudy account and associated data, simply send a written request to support@digitalstudy.org from your registered email.
